Elvis & The Radio Soul Tour, Newcastle O2 City Hall

One of the most rewarding takeaways from this tour (though there have been a fair few) is that it's returned me to the writing.

I was beginning to wonder when and if the skill and compulsion would ever intersect for me again after The Party's Over. Turns out I just needed the right inspiration. In just a short period of time I've reeled off a fresh set of songs that feel clear, cohesive and necessary and I was lucky enough to get to trial a few for Elvis' audiences. Now, I can wait to get into the studio and lay them down with the band.
